MARGOT SADIE LEVINE ZUCKERMAN

ABOUT ME
I recently graduated fromNorthwestern University with a B.A. in Environmental Sciences and Economics. I have a passion for food sustainability, and I aim to make predominant food supply chains more environmentally and socially just. Last year, I received funding from the Circumnavigators Foundation and Northwestern University to conduct a six-country, four-continent research project on local food systems and urban food security. I seek to apply what I learned about the best case practices of and challenges facing local food systems worldwide to my career.
Research Project Summer 2017: How can local food systems best foster urban food security?
