Last year, I received a research grant from the Circumnavigators Club of Chicago and Northwestern University to study local food systems and urban food security in six cities around the world.

 

To fulfill my grant requirements, I wrote a 100-page report. However, I would also like to share my project with friends and family members who lack the stamina to get through those 100 pages. Indeed, I did keep a blog last summer; however, I wrote my blog posts with my final report in mind, and so they are lengthier and more technical than your average travel blog.
